Encouraged Behavior

• Support Authors: Leave positive reviews, meaningful comments, and constructive feedback
• Share Discoveries: Recommend stories you love to others (without spoilers!)
• Engage Respectfully: Participate in discussions with open-mindedness and civility
• Report Issues: Help us maintain quality by reporting violations
• Celebrate Diversity: Embrace stories and perspectives from diverse creators
• Ask for Help: Reach out if you need assistance or have questions
• Credit Sources: Always give proper attribution and respect intellectual property

Prohibited Behavior

• Harassment & Bullying: No personal attacks, threats, doxxing, or stalking
• Hate Speech: Content targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
• Sexual Content: Explicit sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited
• Violence & Gore: Graphic violence, torture, or harm against real people or animals
• Spam: Repetitive messages, unsolicited ads, or promotional content
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, author, or official representative
• Piracy: Sharing, distributing, or selling copyrighted content without permission
• Cheating: Manipulating ratings, views, or using bots for artificial engagement
• Self-Harm: Promoting or encouraging self-harm or suicide
• Illegal Activity: Any content promoting or facilitating illegal activities

Content Standards

For Authors

• Original Work: Only publish content you created or have rights to
• Proper Labeling: Use accurate genre tags and content warnings
• Age-Appropriate: Mark mature content appropriately
• Quality Standards: Maintain readable formatting and basic grammar
• Regular Updates: Communicate with readers about update schedules
• Respectful Marketing: Promote your work without spamming

For Readers

• Constructive Feedback: Critique the work, not the author
• Spoiler Warnings: Mark spoilers clearly in comments
• No Piracy: Don't copy or share paid content
• Respect Authors: Remember that authors invest time and effort
• Report, Don't Engage: Report violations instead of arguing

Mature Content Guidelines

We allow mature content for adult audiences (18+) with proper labeling:

Allowed (with warnings):

• Adult romantic/sexual content between consenting adults
• Violence in fictional/fantasy contexts
• Strong language and mature themes
• Dark or disturbing themes (with content warnings)

Never Allowed:

• Sexual content involving minors (any age under 18)
• Non-consensual sexual content
• Real-person exploitation or abuse
• Content glorifying illegal acts

Comment & Discussion Standards

• Be Constructive: Criticism should be specific and helpful
• Stay On-Topic: Keep discussions relevant to the story
• No Spam: One comment per thought; don't flood threads
• Respect Differences: People can disagree; be civil about it
• Use Spoiler Tags: Protect the reading experience for others
• No Self-Promotion: Don't advertise your stories in others' comments

We enforce these guidelines fairly and consistently:

Warning System

• First Violation: Warning and content removal
• Second Violation: Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
• Third Violation: Permanent account ban
• Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban

What Happens When Content is Removed

• You'll receive an email explaining the violation
• Removed content is permanently deleted
• Repeated violations lead to account suspension
• You can appeal decisions to appeals@peakime.com

Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

• Use the "Report" button on content or profiles
• Provide specific details about the violation
• Don't engage with the violator
• We review all reports within 24-48 hours
• You'll receive a confirmation when action is taken

Appeals Process

If you believe your content was removed unfairly:

• Email appeals@peakime.com within 14 days
• Include your username and the content in question
• Explain why you believe the decision was incorrect
• We'll review and respond within 5-7 business days
• Appeals decisions are final
